Configuring a Report via Email

For email reports to work, the email server settings must be set up correctly when creating the Organisation.

  1. To configure email reports, go to the Use/Manage selections and Report Emails screen.
  2. Click the email icon to open the email report options.
  3. Add a name for the report email (this will be the subject of the email).
  4. Expand the Email As drop-down and choose the file format you require from the available options (PDF or XLSX). Currently, XLSX is only available for two widgets (Pie Chart (2x1) Ext Data and Custom Table (2x1)).
  5. Click the Add New Row button then enter the email addresses of those to be notified and press Save.

When the report time passes (as configured on the Pick a Saved Report dialog) any users configured to receive reports via email will receive a copy of their chosen report as an attachment to an email.
